Tiki 38 Rudder Step

Do we need metal? Can a tiki 38 be built without screws? Dyneema and synthetic rigging. Carbon chainplates, etc,etc….

    oh yes, you are completely right. offcourse I used temporaraly screws for that matter but did not left them behind.

    Thinking of using a modified low friction ring design made of high density poly for a thimble.

    What size dyneema are you using for your rigging?

    as I am not busy yet with this I did checked it out and see the bridle of the forstay needs the biggest breaking load of 3600 kg. If I check that it can be done with 6mm with a breaking load of 4328 kg. So I probably will use this 6 mm. Maybe other manufaturar will handle different figures.
