Hello, 

I'm french so excuse my english, as you know french are very bad at language !

I'm also new in this group and not used to forum.

Let's begin ! 

This summer i had the chance to sail over bretain with 3 friends on a tiki 21, it was the boat of the association we work with, it's a beautiful one, yellow and blue, vintage and so much wharram's spirit ! 

After, we decide to do the transatlantique with this cata, at the time it was essentiel to leave with this one particulary, but yesterday i spoke with the boss of the association who tell me that he can not give me the boat ... 

The project become less real, but i don't want to give up and i'm gonna leave in july as expected. 

I'm searching a tiki 21 or tiki 26, if you heard something, or if you are agree to rent me the cata i search, i will be very happy.

If you have some stories with this kind of boat, some experience we can learn or some advice, it's very usefull and nice !!

    Salut ! 

    je serais super contente de discuter de ton projet, et puis j'avais aussi beaucoup de questions quant à l'aménagement intérieur pour vivre au mieux et les améliorations techniques et de stabilité pour assurer notre sécurité.     Please consider that Rory's Tiki 21 is not a standard boat. The hulls are made of strong fibreglass. It has no decks, but netting instead. This is to stop waves from smashing into underside. It has strengthened rigging and sails. I have a Tiki 21 and it is not suitable for ocean crossings. Rory's Tiki 21 is much stronger.

    D'abord, les Fançais ne sont pas si mauvais que ça en langues étrangères, mais pour rester dans le débat, je pense que partir à quatre sur un Tiki21 ne serait pas très raisonnable, au regard non seulement de l'espace pour les personnes, mais aussi de celui nécessaire pour la vie, eau, nourriture, produits divers. 

    Pourquoi ne pas essayer de trouver deux T21 (qui se négocient courament autour de 5 000€) et naviguer de conserve?
