tiki 30 biplane junk rigged

Still in the planing stage of converting my tiki 30 to a biplane junk rig. Looking at two sails of 25m2 each. should the batten be short enough to miss the other mast? about 4m clearance between the centre line of each hull so if i keep the batten length at 3.5 it will determine the mast height? planing on a split jung rig sail plan ( from the JRA pages and Slieves plans)

    If you haven't already done so, I suggest you join the JRA.  There are several people who have already successfully complete this conversion and will be happy to advise.
