Use Tiki Wingsail with tapered mast?

Will the Tiki Wingsail work on a tapered mast?

I didn't know how tight the Gaff is fitted to the mast.

On a Tiki 30 size mast, 5.5" at foot and 3" or so at mast head. Of course the Gaff wouldn't go all the way to the mast head, so mast diameter probably be around 3.5" or so at point Gaff rides usually.

The problemas is the gaff. In top, the gaff will swing. And you will lost the aerodinamic performance. But if this mast comes free $$$. You can try.
