tiki 26 - zip on the main

hello everybody.

Spring is coming and I'm going to change my old -old main sail.

I asked Jeckel for a new one and he told me the new main sail are full battens, but above all 

they have a bright new zip in order to furl the sail.

Of course it is very comfortable, but is it safe? I mean is the main strong enough even with the zip?

Is it easy to fold, to place it? Will it last enough?

Have you got experience about it ?

The zip is not taking any tension. There are straps inside the sleeve that you tension in order to remove the pressure from the luff sleeve and zipper.
