Could someone please help me with some info about how to do the beam lashings.

I have the general idea but I would like to make sure I am doing it 100%.

I'm rebuilding a Tiki 26 and I have no plans.

Info such as. Rope thickness, material.  How to start the lashing , how tight should it be?

If there is a picture of the original plans or if somebody has found a better way to do it, it would be really appreciated.

Have a search, there have been quite a few discussions on materials and techniques for getting the lashings tight.  If memory serves 6mm prestretch and a minimum of 6 turns, but do not quote me!

For the lashings you can use 5 full turns of 5mm diameter pre stretched braided polyester rope or 7 turns of 4 mm.
