Just sorting out my old timber Mast on my Tiki 21, but would like to replace with an alloy one in the near future. The idea is to build up a tabernacle system. Current mast is heavy for what it is. I have this lovely little anchorage but access is blocked by a bridge. With current berth spaces and squabbly yacht owners I would love to lower the mast and scoot under the bridge into a lagoon:)
I hardly keep my Tiki in the water as most berths are too exposed to huge chop and high winds.
I would prefer to source the alloy mast from the UK, along with new shrouds etc. Any pointers and advice would be welcome.
Tiki is the 'Papayo' from Guernsey, if anyone is interested. Bought her a while ago now and shipped her to the Falklands. Great little boat, just wish it was a 26! :)
