Is there anyone in Australia familiar with Donaghy's rope? Is it quality? I'm looking at using it to lash the beams of  my Tang mk lV. Cheers

Mate,I have bought some of this rope. The finer diameter rope I find rather stiff and coarse and hard to work with, especially for lashings on the beams. I eventually went with http://www.neropes.com/Interim%20Page%20Alternate.html. In saying this the 6mm and 8mm Donaghy seems fine.

Thanks Paul,I think l'll go with the donaghys for now,the quality seems ok for the price. The new England rope looks good but l couldnt find a site that is clear on stats and prices for yacht rope though. cheers
