custom motor well

I wanted  to change my motor in the way boatsmith had done, with controlls by rope like the tiki 30 nostromo.

the fueltank and battery are also in there, and i have table now.

It is great as the noise is less, and it is safer with small children. Now i need to waterproof the electrics and start working on the cosmetics, as this is a functional proof of concept..

the motor is an extra long tail now. it fits the boat, and it stays clear when drying out.

Any ideas voor an easy to build waterproof part in  the front part of the box for battery, and solar controller?
