About me or us?
I am 62 going to 63 next August. Since my childhood I like boats and the sea. I've already had two power boats that were mainly used for fishind and diving. The last 25-30 years I've being sailing with friends in mono and multi huls. I want the Tiki 26 (Madrigal will be her name) for sailing in Rio de Janeiro and Angra dos Reis. I don't know if in the future I'll try some longer trips.
Looking to?
Share my future building experience with other people.
Hi, Alexandre, my friend,
Welcome to this very free site.
And think: The only way to build is begin.
I advise you to build a model 1:20; it's a very nice job. And will give you basic experience.
I waiting your visit some day.
Hi, Alexandre. I'm sorry because my english is not good. The tent was built in Argentina for the previous owner, and is not part of the design. It gives good proteccion from the waves when we are going to weather, this is important because the boat is very wet in this situation (and the water is cold in the Río de la Plata). However this tent does not give shelter from the sun.

Hello Alex,
When I was young I spent new year's on ipanema beach and awoke to a candle procession over my passed out body.
Today's multihulls come from a polynesian tradition that is very old and sailed successfully over most of the pacific ocean. their method was to build models that they raced against one another and placed bets in the races, so a fast boat was desirable. they built their full size boats from the models and then could decide if any changes were successful or not. So, it is good that you are following the tradition and building a model. we will follow your project and wish you success in 2010.
Dear Alexandre, We are John and Kat from Australia, members of the PCA and we are building a 42' Pahi due to launch in about a year. We will be in Rio on Tuesday 25th January just for the day. If you are going to be in the area and would be happy to meet with us to discuss Wharram building and owning, we would enjoy it very much. Please let us know as soon as possible.
Regards
John and Kat
