I have a chart plotter depthfinder that came with a transome mounted skimmer type transducer. I mounted the transducer on a tow fish that I made. It looks cool but alas to no avail I am unable to get…Continue

Tiki 30 spinnaker

Hello fellow Wharram sailors. I have been on the hard for a couple of years but I am planning to launch early spring. I’m hoping someone can offer a suggestion for a spinnaker for downwind sailing. I’m hoping to find a decent used sail. I’m sure this topic has been discussed before but I don’t see anything. Thank for any info.

"I think this mock-up will be the simplest way. I will cut a bit off the lower trailing edge and add a bit of faring is above the waterline. That should give me the proper angle for the pivot rod"

Forestay Bridle.

Hello. Well I hit an immovable object with my tiki30 the other day. It did rip the port side forestay Ubolt right out of the bow stem. While inspecting the damage I noticed the wood was damp inside. Not really rotten but not a good thing. Repair s are underway and I chopped out damp wood and fitted a new stem piece all epoxied back in no big deal. I never hav liked the though bolted Ubolt Idea to connect the forestay to the stem. I’m considering drilling some proper holes and using a dyneema…See More

HI Chris, I love your tramp. I am thinking of emulating it on my Pahi when the time comes. Can you tell me something about the webbing and how it is attached to itself?

Regards

Bill

Thanks Chris

Did you weld it yourself? How? How did you get it coated in vinyl?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Chris, how do those beam lashings you use work out? I'm looking for webbing straps, but did not succeed to find suitable and also affordable ones yet.

Best regards,

Jeroen
