A Photo & Discussion Forum for Wharram Design Enthusiasts
Hi,
If anyone is interested I have a really nice kubota engine for sale.
I was planning to go install it on our Narai IV. Iput a lot of time and money into it and then decided to build a bridge deck and use outboards instead!
so it’s been put together and all the parts gathered for a very reliable engine but never installed.
I had the bottom end bearings inspected and they were really good condition.
in no particular order here is what is included:
prm 80 gearbox, seals replaced.
adapter plate, new R&D drive plate, kubota marine flywheel
new starter motor, spare starter,
new alternator, spare alternator
new water pump, spare water pump
new R&D engine mounts
silicone hoses, colour coded
ignition switch
radiator
new air filter housing and airfilter
spare oil filter
spare oil
wiring parts inc relay, spare glow plugs
stainless (second hand) [or] plastic fuel tank(new)
new belts and spares
diesel filter and spare filter
new exhaust manifold and gasket
stainless prop shaft suitable for making long shaft
prop guard ex Steve turner can be used with a modification or used as a template
choice of 2 or 3 blade props
its on a trolley so easily moved but will need collecting in a small van, large estate car. It is in north Devon.
I have put it on eBay, here is a link. It’s on for £1900 but I am open to offers. I would like to see it go into a Wharram and get some use.
