Tiki 38 Outboard tilt

Hi all, i have only recently purchased my boat and was wondering how many people tilt their Yamaha 9.9s, i find it difficult and wondering if most people just leave it permanently positioned in the vertical position, raising and lowing the sled only.

Any personal experiences would be appreciated.

I have a Pahi 42, but I think the usage is similar. I do not tilt the engines. I want them to be ready to go quickly if needed: lower the sleds, prime the fuel, start.
