Waow amazing wharram's video against the wind ! congratulations

You really need to know perfectly your boat, your left hull is already out sometimes, could you give wind and boat speed ? may be 22 knt wind and 15 knot speed ! when you do that do you feel safe or it is the limit of your tiki ? anyway really nice :)

wind speed up to 15 m/sec in gusts, boat Speed Put to 7,5 / 8 kn, Tracking angle approx. 120 degressiv. it still felt pretty safe, however I would not have liked to push much more

Hi Bjorn,  great video...the world needs to know that today's Wharrams DO go to windward just fine!  We have left quite a number of boats in our streamlined wake as "Kattu" goes as if pulled by racehorses.  I am definitely a big fan of the wingsail rig.

For those who don't know: 15 m/sec = approx. 29 knots....that's a hatful of wind,  as Joshua Slocum would say.

I would not really say that this was going to ward fine fine, itnhas been quite a pain because of the huge tacking angle, virtually all the mono hulls around us outsailed us by far
