I now own a beautifully made Hitia 17. She was built by a friend of mine in Quebec City Canada and I bought her from him. He used a slightly thicker plywood which makes the boat even stronger which is not bad for our rough waters.
Country, City, and State?

About me or us?
I have been sailing since my childhood on various craft and, while living in Greece doe 15 years, I built two small outriggers canoes made of plywood. Later I learned about Wharram design and was hoping to find one already made since I never developed the skills to built one myself. Last week, I finally found the Hiyia 17 I bought from a friend of mine.
Looking to?
The Hitia that I now own had been used on the St- Lawrence river but I intend to sail it on the Greats Lakes because I have friend there who own properties by the shores of Lake Huron which is a paradise for sailors.
