Pacific Gypsy 11 called Tilly, designed and built by me and inspired by James Wharrams designs. Tilly has flat bottoms with finn keels for lateral resistance she was stitched together with nylon cable ties and then Epoxied

64 year old musician and mariner/artist my design and build is considered more of a sculpture than a traditional boat build i see my project as a combination of art and function like i see James Wharrams designs. Every one a work of art.

Looking to?

use Tilly as a floating stage and means of transport around the coast of New Zealand to perform music at yacht and boat clubs as part of my retirement plan. Thats the dream anyway!
