Currently fixing up Waka Rua, a Kauri/Glass Hinemoa based in Tauranga.

The boat in my profile is Mareva, a 74 foot voyaging canoe owned by my brother Hamish. Built by Hans Klaar, who honoured many Wharram principles in designing and building her.

About me or us?

Hello :) We are Leo and Tara Murray. We believe that nature can provide everything we need, but have yet to learn how to harness it. I (Leo) have a particular interest in exploring the ocean, sustainable construction methods and alternative energy sources. Tara is really visually orientated and wishes to learn more about permaculture design. One day we wish to create our own home as well as go sailing using these principles, but we are young and there is still so much to learn.
