Beautifull engine but... not too big for your boat? or would you build the first tiki for the moon?  If this, i want to be of voyage.

I think that I'll replace the cockpit with a heavy aluminum frame, for an engine mount. Having trouble deciding where to mount the gyroscopes though!

What the..??!!!

I was impressed when Matthias said he had some helicopter rotor blades that came in useful for winglets to trim his Tiki 26 - But a J2 !!!

One of the best rocket engines ever made.  I was lucky enough to be in Florida to see the final Apollo Saturn V launch, which took place at night.  The weather was clear and we could follow it all the way to first stage separation, and watched the five J2's of the second stage light up.  It was like the most beautiful star I've ever seen as it disappeared over the horizon heading for orbit.

The thrust of each engine was about a quarter of a million pounds, so you should get a pretty good power to weight ratio on a Tiki 30...  Somebody once said "Nothing goes to windward quite like a 747", well I think you'd have it beat!

I think that one will render any max hull formula irrelevant
