I like the Idea of lashing the hatches and have done it on my cockpit seats.I think you could make it more secure if you had a small length of chain on the inside of the hatch just enough space to get your hand thru and then have a lock on the inside?

Yeah , lock inside, but in main hatch I will do some study before choice one solution.
