A belt web is attached to fiberglass poles Those are lashed to the beams and two rails at the hulls. We hand sewed the loops around the fiberglass poles. Then fixed the webbing with cross stitches (picture) and sewed the remaining connections with a machine. Quite a lot of work (and not always rectangular :-)), but very strong. It can be set up very stiff. Total cost 180 Euros for the belts and poles. But a lot of sewing.
