The perils of painted fibreglass, I got handed a pair of daggerboards from a performance cat, the owner who bought it second hand couldn't figure out why he was getting flexion and water ingression on one while the other failed completely. The answer: tons of car body filler offering no structural support, faired and coated so the damage and poor repair couldn't be detected at the time of purchase.
