I need your help, I do not know how high is the banks of the cockpit. I saw that you glued small stumps beside the cabin. How do you calculate the height of the cockpit? I intend to make a cockpit similar to the Abaco or Nok Talay

Rogerio, I started with the height of the blocks on which the crossbeams lay (aft of BH6 and forward of BH3).

From there you can calculate the heigt of the cockpit edge on which the seat will lay, which in my case is about 9cm above the blocks.

I want my seat not straight but a bit tilt downwards towards the cabinside which I think is more comfortable to sit and the rainwater will run off better. Reduce the amount of tilt you want from those 9cm and you have the height above the blocks of the little stumps. Make a mark at BH 3 and one at BH 6 and pull a line tight between those 2 points and you have your marks.

That is how I did it and of course one can always vary the exact hight of the seats by glueing a batten under the seats where they lay on the cockpit side or at the cabinside.

I hope this helps
