Sailing out of Simonstown

Hi Arthur, nice to see a Wharram out of Simons Town. My female partner is considering a move to ST and I would then base my poject there too. Are the False Bay Yacht Club moorings save in all conditions? I am currently a member of the Zululand Yacht Club (Richards Bay).

Hello Hanz, I honestly cannot comment on the safety of Simonstown seeing as I don't know it, but it looks to me like it is a safe anchorage.  Waht I can say is that it is an incredibly beautiful harbour(real purty as Paul said!!), and I would have loved to have it as my home base from that point of view.  However, I much preer the temperature of the sea off Kwa Zulu Natal!
