Three months ago these four traditional (vaka,drua,waka) with crew from the Pacific voyaged to Tahiti, Rorotonga, Samoa and Fiji following traditional voyaging techniques primarily to bring back this knowledge and to advocate ocean sustainability. The Fijian drua Uto Ni Yalo arrived back in Suva on Sat.
and you will also notice that some waka have solar panels so new technology was on board also. By the way I am not male!

They launched the voyage from Bayswater Marina.

Being Fijian myself those are the links I have followed, I know there have been numerous
media coverage links through out the pacific though. :)
