Do the buckles stay pretty tight as opposed to lashings?

HI Brad,

I can't tell, as i have no experience with lashings.. But the buckles work. It's just that a sheet or some other line might get under it and pull it lose. It happens now and then.But it hasn't been a problem for me in the last 8 years.  If i had to choose i go for lashings, i seems stronger to me.
