Hi Laurent

I'm again and again surprised, how beautyfull our "working machines" look!

I work here in Switzerland near a very nice lake and my Tiki is far away. To bad!

So I just bought a Virus Turbo II Skiff to get now and then on the water and do something for my

deteriorating fittness.  Fair winds always... Wave

Hello, I am intrigued by the pahi 26 . Is ther any in the eastern US? I would love to see one up close.  Where is this boat now?

hello kevin,

"la piguse" is now in south  france, well builted in switzerland in 1982, navigated around mediterranean sea with several navigators but in the same family, greece, corsica, mallorca , north africa , cap verde ... the owner ,builder could,nt navigate any more for different reason but wanted piguse dancing again in good hands, i bought it for very few euros in exchange to respect this family tresor ,so i keep the original name and hope to keep the spirit of the owner navigation , simple , cool way . the last sailor (nephew) wanted to cross atlantic to caraibes but stoped in canaries due to urgent  family reason . the boat came back to europ in container ; it is in that state i got it ,with every thing  inside for long passage , maps ,tools, rot food ! salt included , i discover all that inside the hull with weird  feelling... and i expect to complete and more the interupted voyage ...

i like the polynesian style of pahi , it is question of taste . it is pity small pahi doesn 't have same succes than tiki . due to the bad comportement with old rig ? i read this rumor here and other  on some post but   now glenn tieman ( who inspire me in his way of life and sailling) emphasize a lot in many post on forum  of the improvement of the tiki wing sail rig . the conversion is imperative . i hope tikiroa , small pahi will gain new builders and happy sailors...

cheers

laurent
