Coosa is designed as a plywood replacement. It comes in two flavors a light wieght version at 15 lb/cuft, and a structural version at 26.5 lb/cuft. THe structural has two layers of glass roving imbedded in it in addition to all of the random fibers in the product. The disadvantages are it is very itchy stuff to work and is tre' expensive. Other than that it is way cool imo. It does not need to be glassed. it can be filleted and maybe tabbed and painted . We use AwlGrip paints. I would suggest seal coating prior to using a less durable more permeable paint system. If you sheath one side, I recommend sheating the other side as well or it will tend to warp. This will be less of a concern with epoxy vs poly or vinyl resins.
Thanks for your comment and advise! I know the itchy feeling :-)
