hi Gael - guess that lashing strip screws and probably bolts onto  the intermediate stringer inside. How come you didn't extend the filler block above it all the way up To engage with the underside  of the sheer clamp Stringer?? I like your idea, I am planning to lash the beams on with rope I see the advantages in getting lashings  tight by using frapping turns .
