new wood to mount the cockpit, the old wood had holes in it, filled with rubber kit. Al rot behind it.

In my cockpit I put a lot of screws in 4,5x4,5cm timber

But you put epoxy and paint over the screw i think? Just some kit wasn't enough to keep the water out in my boat...
