Will this be a tacking outrigger canoe or a proa?

Ahoy Nick,

It's a proa similar to KIR-7 but lengthened to 18 feet.  The design was developed in Delftship and "unfolded" to find panel dimensions, then panels were fit to available plywood dimensions, then adjusted to maximize gunwale height while maintaining the shape.  The gunwales are straight edges in the unfolded panels.  It is a symmetrical hull the same as the KIR-7.  Making a model now after two tries.

I'm interested in your boat, looks great, plus it actually exists!

Thanks,

Andy
