tiki 30 with islander 39 mast layout, I think Tiki range needs one boat between 33 and 36 foot with this masts

Why do yo need the extra sail? It complicates the build and will end up being a detriment to actual usage. It would be better to eliminate it and use a cutter rig and a staysail, but the Tiki wing sail mast makes it difficult to do that.
Yeah, really beautiful. I make one simple draw in tiki 30 layout, but one boat a little bigger (35") with four crossbeams and the mizzen mast with less than 6m maybe don't need shourders.
You are right, it's complicate the build, and works on deck/cockpit. But I think you gain 5º or more windward
If it comes out of Brazil it could be beautiful.
I have a Tiki stretched to 33ft (WaveDancer). It is still a small boat although fantasic to sail. What do you want to achieve with the mizzen?
OK it looks nice but there should be a practical reason. Do you have a argument or is it just about "beauty"?
If you want a small boat and a prooven design with 2 Masts then go for the 31. Shes' a very good boat too and even stronger built than the Tiki 30 which is originaly a "coastal cruising design".
Check also with A. Smith, Junction Boat Yard on Panglao-Island, Philippines - he built the 2 masted Tiki 36 (don't know if the plans are available for selfbuilders). Cheers WD
if you want to make the tiki30 faster in light wind, so add a gennaker. I use it up to 10 kn of wind. with the gennaker i go nearly 80% of windspeed without nearly 50% up to 60° to the wind.
