A heavily modified and stretched Tiki 30. Refer to boatsmith's posts on the Tiki 36 thread to get the basic idea. I feel the redesign much improves the boat while still maintaining trailability (albeit somewhat difficult). This would seem suit my needs perfectly as I do not live near the ocean and intend to sail both lakes and open ocean.

About me or us?
Ex Carpenter turned Engineer, sails on other people's boats occasionally, been a lifelong dream to have a boat of my own.
Looking to?
Build a Tiki 30 and learn to sail on the large lakes in my area, eventually trailering and taking to the Puget Sound for more experience, and finally to sail the open oceans.
Hello Steven! I wish you all the best for your Tiki project. I'm resident in the Philippines and have just bought the Amatasi plans, to build the first boat by my own hands. As an former economist who spend half the lifetime in offices, quite a task!. Before I was the owner of the famous Tiki 33 WaveDancer in Thailand, probably the best modified Tiki 30 ever built. Also the Amatasi will be a modified version, to make her a comfortable small coastal cruiser and island raider in the Visayas, Philippines. Wave
