Wharram Builders and Friends

A Photo & Discussion Forum for Wharram Design Enthusiasts

Dearest Wharram Tribe,
I have thoroughly enjoyed sailing with Randy in the Hei Matau unlike his "crew has mutinied" comment, she is a true dreamboat- perfect for 2-3 people (and a small canine) when sleeping aboard, that said I have served dinner for 12 onboard.

Video of us, going 13knots, between Cuttyhunk and Padanaram. That mutiny crew is me whooping it up.

There are so many things I love about the HeiMatau. In a perfect world we will always sail on Wharrams, I just think I'm ready for a size up to accommodate our family. My fantasy is to sail a slightly more robust one (yes with a "proper head and galley") in Vanuatu while I gather stories and make art with children around the topic of climate change.
Also, FYI, I came to this relationship having already been bitten by the sailing bug after spending a Summer in Cataumet at Parkers Boatyard as the family chef. One of the perks was my own sailboat.
Let me know if YOUR first mate wants the facts and I hope she goes to a good home!
Kindly,
Amy

Here's the blog I started awhile back when we went on an epic Keys sailing trip:
