Due to health problems, we came to a sad decission to sell our Tiki 38 project. One almost finished hull is now for sale.
She is built form Robbins BS1088 Marine Plywood, gaboon, 9, 12 and 18 mm, and A grade douglas fir.
All joints are strengthened with epoxy fillets. The inside of the hull has three coats of epoxy, the lower half of the outside is laminated and ready for paint.
170 liters water tank is installed together with the plumbing for fresh water, shower etc ( all whale system), a set of three way valves and some plumbing bits . We also have a Lavac toilet with a pump, which can double up as a bilge pump. All the lower bulkheads for the second hull are cut out, plus some other bits and peaces. There is also enough of douglas fir to finish the whole project and plenty of oak hard wood, plus fibreglass to finish the lamination of the first hull.
The hull was built with great care and love and attention to detail, and we followed the plans. Approx. 1200 hours of work. Full set of plans plus two copies included.
There is about a month work estimated for two people to finish the hull.
She is located in south west of Czech Republic, in our workshop.
Many photos of the building process are available upon request.
We would like to get 5000 euros for it.
Thats including the plans, the parts which are allready cut for the next hull, the douglas fir, fiberglass, toilet, plumbing bits etc...
