Not a joke ... I happily sailed Reggae during 6 years. Now my kids have grown up, I don't have the time for upcoming repairs and I want to sail my other boat,..

The Tiki has been cruising until this October, for wintering it is stored on land in Vangelis boat yard in Corfu town, Ionian archipelago, Greece

The boat and its motor, sails and equipment are still functional and ready to cruise for a season or two. In the future following should be done: water infiltrated into two plywood panels on the port hull, they need replacing. I made a temporary repair to prevent further infiltration and to reinforce the soft spot, but don't have the time to repair it properly. Windows should also be changed. The repairs can be carried out DIY in the yard. The cat is placed is two metres from the sea shore, from the boat you look on the sea as if you are already in the water.

The only other owner and his wife are motivated to continue the partnership as it halves cost and time requiered. They are a professional couple in their early fifties, live in Frankfurt, Germany. We share the boat since 2008, the boat was sailed every summer for about 8 weeks. Niels has the right to aquire the remaining share himself if he doesn't like the prospective new owner. I already offered him my share for free, but he wants to find a new partner.

Annual fixed cost for wintering and liability insurance is only 850 EUROs per partner. Add to this some money for paint, spares and replacing equipment as desired.

This is an inexpensive and low-risk way to familiarise with budget-boating.

Attached a translation of the contract of shared ownership.

The new owner taking over my share should be ready to sign something similar with the remaining owner, Niels.

There is one clause that states the remaining owner has the preemptive right to purchase the share of the leaving owner. However Niels is looking to continue the partnership, so he will accept a motivated candidate.

There are two seriously interested,  my share in Reggae is practically given-away and no longer available.

I wish the new team good luck and I thank boatsmith for this forum.
