I have a Tanenui 28, for sale. She is on a mooring in St.Aubins harbour in Jersey, Channel Islands UK.   She needs new bulwarks but is in otherwise good condition.   She is the subject of the book "Attempted Escape From Western Civilization by homebuilt wooden catamaran"  (available on Amazon or Lulu).  Would accept £3500, or sell a share to a UK based owner.  Cheers Tim.

Just wanted to say that I thought 'Attempted Escape From Western Civ...." was riotous. I loved the part about taking over your friend's parents garden to build her. The flying stereo speaker made me howl....not to mention the neighbor girl that nearly passed out applying bilge paint. Good luck! Bob

Oh, I have no problem spreading the word. I would venture that many on this site have read it. I love "The Voyage of the Kaimiloa" and "Two Girls, Two Catamarans" but "Attempted Escape from Western Civ.." has that Marx Bros zaniness while still capturing the romance of these boats. Hope to meet you over a pint one day...
