<p>Hi there. also important to get as tight as possible to start with and use a non stretch cord. Your step may have worn too and may need to be built up again so it is right angles to the edge of the skeg and rudder. That way the ledge is correctly orientated for the rudder to SIT on. cheers Brett</p>
