J.W.plans require 6 turns of 5mm I was wondering if 5 turns of 6mm would do as well. <br /> 6x5=5x6 ?<br /> Any thought?

Yep,modertn rope technologies are far better than they where in the 80's just ensure it's quality stuff.With rope you really do get what you pay for.Use dynema for the frapping.I followed boatsmiths advice and used a broom stick section with a slot cut on one end to really tighten the lashings works great.If your boat dries out when you do the lashings they will loosen up once she sits on her level afloat.
