We have quite a collection now on the Exe. I can think of 8 with this one.

Dear Ian, 'maisy moops' my 17 foot Hitia is currently sailed out of Torquay Harbour as its been quite a struggle to put the boat together and launched on the River Exe and I have struggled to obtain a pontoon berth at SCFC.  I have often admired your boat and particularly your YouTube videos.  Perhaps we will meet up at Anstey Cove one fine summers day?  Kind regards martin

Martin, Thanks for the kind comments. There's a new video on the way!

Are you a member at SFCC ? Perhaps I'll see you next Friday at Rory's talk?

Regard Ian

Hi Ian, yes I joined SFCC earlier this year but decided for reasons previously explained to sail out of Torquay.  What a good idea to see Rory again as he is a great inspiration, I will try and make it next Friday - regards martin

PS: As the Hitia 17 is a tad wet, I have been considering a Tiki 21 with Scott Brown down in Cornwall.  However, I am not sure he wants to sell it even though we went down to view.  Maybe best to stick with the Hitia and just buy a dry suit!
