Tiki36 Kiboh

Dear wharramista's

Kiboh Tiki36 #2 of 2 in other words a u nique Wharram spent it's last 6 year on the dry unfortunately.  Due to its previous owners advancing age.  She is now being rescued from the elephants graveyard,  she is in good enough Nick to make this happen! Apart from a few cosmetic problems and Dom overdue maintenance she is a sound boat.. initially I took on this challenge  by myself with 500€ to spare for antifouling and  an engine service . I am a good enough boat builder but I gladly admit that I am very naive when it comes to the financial part.. I realized that it needs far more funding and a couple of good  co skippers I  can trust. Also due to my 10 months old son. So I started a groupchat on whatsapp as a pilot fundraising and and awareness raising attempt . It's called friends of Kiboh,  The idea is you become a member by paying a member ship fee of 200€  which entitles you to come sailing with Kiboh. The money of course gets invested in her restoration and upkeep there will also be an annual contribution to deal with mooring fees ,upkeep ,etc. How much that will be will depend on where she is sailed, which could be voted about by members . Smaller donations are of course also welcome . Expert sailors and financially challenged could also get discounts by volunteering for skippering and upkeep work. To become  a member please transfer your full member ship fee to IBAN: NL10RABO0125400020 under the name of M. de Jonge. BIC or swift code is RABONL2U. The first cruise will be this June from  Leros Greece to Lefkas Greece. If you are interested  please contact me. Apart from money I really need crew and company. Greetings. Mick

Hello Mik,

I'm interested in your Tiki36 project.

Is it possible to post some more pictures of the boat?

Did you ever think about selling the tiki36?

Best regards

Gerhard

Sorry to say so but I'm not longer on this project due to family issues.
