Hello Ernie

The automatic translators are very difficult to understand. By example, camelote in common French means cheap, poor quality!!!!

You can have details concerning my Tiki46 building on the blog :

At first you have to know where will be implanted the masts in the hulls in order to change the accommodations. My masts will be behind the second beam but by example on the Tiki46 Apatiki rigged with classical junk rigs the masts are in front of the second beams.

Here is a general view of PHA# accomodations :

Hi there!

Re:  Errors

On the Tehini plans, there is the original lines drawing, as well as the booklet with the updates.  The booklet lines drawing shows the location of the centerboards, etc, as well as the new sheerline.   This is to give more headroom in the areas of the fore and aft single bunks.

Comparing the widths in the original plan and the updated plan, note they are the same.  The side view of the lines drawing has new vertical measurements, e.g. 3' 10 1/2" from the waterline on the update vs. 3' 9" or so on the original.

When I lofted with the updated measurements, the result looked wrong.  What seemed to work better was to draw the entire boat w/ the original measurements, and expand the sheerline from there.  This is easy since the sides of the hull are a straight V.

Let me know if this makes sense.

JOE
