I used a golf umbrella for some time to provide some shelter to the inner hull when not sailing and to reduce condensation at night.  After seeing the quality and strength of the umbrellas for the angling market I decided to upgrade.  What I would really like is a custom pram hood cover as fitted to the Tiki 8m.  In the meantime this work well and can even be raised when sailing if the wind is not too strong.  The umbrella is lowered flush with the cabin top at night to prevent wind getting under it however the bracket arrangement is solid but easily undone.  It makes rainy days in harbour much more comfortable. Some additional pictures are on my page.
