Hi Iain, I am David Halladay with Boatsmith in Florida USA. I think you are thinking of Andy Smith with Junction Boatworks in the Philippines.

have you tried moving the hulls individually, then put them together in a boatyard?

also what about a flatbed lorry with a hyab, like a builders merchants lorry.

just a thought

name is duff 094730518 real simple steel straps wrapped around beams and down to hull sides, 4 on each beam, has workedwell for 30 years and no flexing so can add center cabin, duff has rebuilt cabin , ring him and have a look. nice trips to barrier great weather, boat went well in light winds better than windspeed and on the way out surfing at 15 knots. you got it at the right price is good , i am looking at a couple of better boats with more room at the moment, so could be selling mine before long ,its like a modern wharram concept in a way, will try and put a photo on my page. dave

I'm very intrigued with your single mast junk rig design..... I don't see anything in the photos about it other than the drawing   Was it built?   How does it work?

It is my intention to build or modify a cat to a single unstayed mast which will use the Aerojunk rig, similar to Pete Hill's latest rig on Oryx, which I heard he recently sold.

Talk as they say is cheap, and wanting to do something and actually doing it are considerably different.......I won't live long enough to do all the things I would like to do, and have reached the age where I need to prioritize....... a sailing cat is very near the top of the list...........
