First hull trying to get out of the yard.

Hi Chris, Can you tell me a bit about trailers? I build a 8 meter monster.

Hi Hans How long is your hull.The trailer had a 6m bed and is able to carry a 1570kg 5Harleys.it is braked we used a gantry to lift the hull on its brace and pushed the trailer under.The Hull supports being joined was the best thing we could have done .

My hulls are 11.7 m/1 ton each, the trailer is 8m/3 ton. I made 2 loading beams to lift the hulls and push the trailer under. Supports hold the hull and in addition they are strapped down with down-ties, so nothing can move. Each trip is 700 km. And 700 km back.

Sounds really solid get an extra spare wheel or two.and check the load and tyres every 100 kms
