Hi fellow Wharram Friends,
I have recently bought and unfinished Tikki 46, the exterior is pretty much fixed but I am having concern on the seaworthiness of the boat as I don't have the plans to double check.
I also see a lot of conflicting advice on internet regarding the glassing or not of the interior of the hulls and bulkheads.
I know that the boat is supposed to have had two layers of 6 oz (200gsm) on the outside of the hull, do you think it is worth the hassle to add extra layers ?
What would you recommend doing with the inside of the hull ? I will have to send everything and redo some filleting but is glassing the interior worth the hassle ? Mandatory ? Not recommended because it traps moisture in (the boat has been on the water for some times) ?
I seem to read all conflicting opinions online and I'd like to have yours !
