Hi Rod,
did you go with Günther Nutt? He seems the far better choice than Andy Smith and here does not seem any trouble with the boats he built, he also seems to have a way better understanding how and which wood to use.
The containers for the Tiki hulls are 40 foot high cube, the cockpit shipped seperately and was packaged in a crate (which was actually pretty well made by the builder).
There would be quite a few modifications I would recommend on the build: aluminium masts, different mast foot design, cockpit roof, lowered cockpit floor on a slight slant to prevent water standing in the cockpit, lockers besides the cockpit....
I hope this helps a bit

hi Rod , i figured that material costs are about over $ 20 000 something , so my asking price is  $28 000 AU , the boat costed me much more than that  as in rent and other associated costs , but at that price i would recover some of my money ,

here is my phone number 07 14847102  call me if you want more info or negotiate  cheers Zee

Yes, we'd entertain an offer, youd have to move fast though, I'm about to buy my partner out and have Gunther finish her. Ive just been delayed another year or two with a project here in Oregon, otherwise I'd say, "no".

Hi Rod,

Sorry about the delay. I did launch my tiki 30 in early Nov. I lost the building space, so it was a race to get her water ready!  Still don't have sails. When we vacated the space, another company sublet and bought the assets, which included most of my tooling. There is a scheduled payment for assets on March 16, which should allow me to order sails. Have also been refurbishing a small gaff sloop that I had built, to ready for sale. I'm very much looking forward to getting out on the cat.

Thanks for your interest. I'll try to remember to take some in the water pics...
