Tiki 38 “Touch Wood” 2002 FOR SALE in the Caribbean or Florida!
Fully equipped for longterm sailing and ready to go. Asking 79.000 Euro
Exceptionally well built by Dave and Rita Barker in 2002. We have been sailing Touch Wood since 2007 in the Algarve and the Med and took her across the Atlantic in 2010. We are right now cruising the Greater Antilles and the Bahamas.

General Description & Construction:
Tiki 38 twin masted gaff rigged schooner. Marine Plywood, Douglas Fir and WEST Epoxy. Slatted decks: Yellow Cedar. Anchor roller cheeks, toe-rails, cleats, lashing strakes and Beam-end pieces: Iroko
Modifications to the original design: 2 Aluminium masts; the fore-mainsail has a loose-footed boom; enlarged coach roofs, aft deck area and centre cockpit; inboard engines in engine boxes; tabernacle, forestay-bridle and netting-attachment have also been modified; water-tight hatches between main and forward cabins have been added (see detailed inventory).
Living Space: The port and starboard hulls are equipped with 2 x double-bunks (salon sitting area can be transformed) and 2x single bunks. There are lots of storages under the bunks and in closed cupboards and shelves. The galley is to port and heads and navigation area to starboard. The comfortable enlarged central cockpit is a great space for dining, navigation, and playing. It can be closed completely in harbor and also under way in severe weather.
Sails: 10oz. triple stitched sails by Arun. 2 x mains, 1 x jib (roller-furling) 1 x Cruising Chute by Jeckells. All in very good condition.
Engines: 2x 14hp (10.3Kw) Nanni 2.50HE (Kubota twin cylinder) inboard engines.
