A Photo & Discussion Forum for Wharram Design Enthusiasts
We have a Tiki 30 that we have modified for sale. She is about half finished. Our window of time has run out so its time to fine someone who would like to get a great head start on a boat project. She is meticulously built.
We have made a few modifications. * we added 10" of freeboard for the purpose of getting some headroom in the main cabin and to make the front bunks roomier.
*Increased the thickness of the bulkheads between the beam pockets.
*Strengthen the beam pockets where the beams sit.
*Lengthen the beams to bring back to the original width. Also added 1" of height to the beams
*Water lines have been installed. 2 water tanks ( one in each hull 30gals. each) Vetus 2 whale pumps (one freshwater
one salt water)
*Custom holding tank with thru-hulls,Y-valve and deck pump out. Tank is made of Corecell foam and epoxy.
*Depth sounder mount(Oil bath,flush on hull)
*Lockers coated with white Rhinoliner
*Interior hulls painted with off white Brightsides paints
* West epoxy and Okueme plywood thru-out the whole project.
* Teak and holly sole.
*Custom Cradles can be used for transport on flatbed trailer.
I have posted 51 photo of the project. If there are any questions please feel free to get a whole of us.
Thanks Arlo Kleinrath
