Can anyone tell me what the spare blocks on top of my Tiki 38's mainmast are for?

Without a photo, or at least a good description, it might be impossible for anyone to answer your question.

They're on the mainmast which, is the after-mast on a Tiki 38. There are 2 cheek blocks shackled to a large tang, on the forward facing edge of the mast, right at the masthead. It's as if she's able to fly two reachers at once, sans wing sails, but even if that's the case, what's the 2nd block for? The guy who had the boat built did a good job, everything's fairly standard, and it seems like they're in the plans, but for what?
