"Cranes are expensive and can put unnecessary stress on the boat and I have the rig up. I'm on a budget too!"

Launch a Tehini?

I am hoping to launch in the summer, but the boat is too big for the boatyards cradle. The preferred method is to reverse a low loader under it and chock it on, and then take it the short way to the slip and let the tide float it. Pictures of cats on low loaders would be much appreciated in my quest to get this sorted. Any advice would be welcome. The boat is in West Wales at Borth just north of Aberystwyth.See More

"I've enhanced the boarding platform which is made of aluminium scaffolding. Pictures available if there's any interest."

What boat (s) are you building or do you own?
Wharram Tehini - formerly Wowie Zowie
Country, City, and State?
UK
About me or us?
Robin has done quite a bit of multihull sailing in the past. Ruth my partner is newer to it all.
Looking to?
Get the boat launched and going again! Installing an engine (outboard) and doing the many small repairs needed to get her ready for the water. She's in a yard in Wales and is too big for their cradle so I'm seeking a flatbed lorry! We're in our 50's and in a few years when we know the boat well and kids are a bit older would like to do some long distance cruising.
